My name is Amani Bazbaz, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Director of Operations at the Goddard School in Florham Park. I am honored to join such a dedicated community and look forward to partnering with you to support the success of all our students. I have more than ten years of experience in the educational field and management, having worked at both private and public schools. My focus has always been on creating efficient systems so that teachers can teach, students can learn, and families feel supported and heard. In my role, I will be overseeing daily operations, safety protocols, and communication across our school. My goal is to ensure our learning environment remains welcoming, organized, and responsive to the needs of our community. I am eager to get to know all of you, and I value your insights and suggestions.
Ms. Laurie is the School Director and Director of Education. She has been in early childhood education for 25 years. She started as a Prekindergarten teacher before becoming a Director. She has gained experience at preschools, daycare, and summer camps. She is passionate about education and providing the best opportunities for the children and faculty. She holds certifications in CPR/First Aid, Safe Sleep, New Jersey Association for Infant Mental Health Administration, Sexual Abuse Awareness, Severe Allergy Awareness, Mindfulness, Children's Yoga, and is endorsed by the Jersey Association for Infant Mental Health as an Infant Family Associate. She is also a certified American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED Instructor.
Ms. Kim has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and over 18 years of experience. She has taught Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Sixth Grade. She joined The Goddard School in 2019.
Ms. Fiorela studied primary education in Peru before moving to the United States. She also has over 4 years of experience teaching young children. Her teaching philosophy is to encourage her students to discover the world around them.
Ms. Kayla comes to The Goddard School with a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She believes in fostering a love for knowledge, encouraging children's critical thinking, and nurturing a growth mindset in each child.
Ms. Kelly comes to The Goddard School with a degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Psychology. She specialized in childhood and adolescent development. She believes that children are a blank canvas. They have amazing curiosity about life and their environment. There is so much for children to learn and understand so their interest in all of this pushes them to test limits and try new things constantly. As a teacher, she feels it is her job to explain, educate, listen, and encourage them, not only to learn and obtain knowledge but to reach their fullest potential.
Ms. Lauren has 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and studied at Florida A&M University. She believes that early childhood education should be fun and rewarding. Early Childhood Education sets the foundation for the children's love of education which will follow them throughout their educational successes. She wants the children to go home happy and enriched from the day, every day.
Ms. Liz has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 7 years of experience working with children. She believes that children are joyful to be around.
Ms. Lexi is currently studying at the County College of Morris and has a year of experience working in early childhood education. She believes in providing a safe and positive environment for all the children in her care.
Ms. Daniela attended college in Colombia and she always wants to be positive and encourage the growth and development of each child in her care.
Ms. Deb comes to The Goddard School with 2 years of experience. She prioritizes building a strong, trusting relationship with each child and supports their natural curiosity and emerging skills.
Ms. Eliana comes to The Goddard School with over 4 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She believes that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Ms. Jazmin comes to The Goddard School with three years of experience in early childhood education. She wants the students in her class to love learning.
Ms. Katie comes to The Goddard School with 6 years of experience in early childhood education. She believes that young children learn in different ways and it is her role to help them learn. She also believes in the importance of the relationship with the children and their families.
Ms. Kaviya has attended the Savannah College of Art & Design along with the County College of Morris. She believes that the highest priority is to keep children safe. She creates a safe and welcoming environment in school where children feel safe enough to come to an adult for any reason. Her second priority is to supervise and aid with learning and discovery.
Ms. Sena attended Bergen Community College, and she believes each child is unique.
Ms. Yamilet believes it is important to get to know each child while keeping them safe and happy so they can explore new things.
